Welcome to Our Home:

Tarrant County Courthouse Fort Worth, Texas was founded on the frontier in 1849 as an outpost for military patrols ranging from the Red River to the Brazos. After the Army moved west, settlers used the abandoned buildings to start a town. Subsequently dubbed Queen City of the Prairie, Panther City and Cowtown. Eventually proclaimed the city “where the west begins,” Fort Worth’s growth was fostered by the cattle drives, railroads, packing houses, oil industry, and aviation. This development has made Fort Worth a national model for urban redevelopment worthy of its being honored with an “All-American City” award twice and its 2002 selection as host of the Main Street Project of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Come sample Fort Worth’s history and culture!

FW Tours has been in business 19 years, providing tours for 2011 Super Bowl visitors and numerous other local and out-of-state groups. FW Tours is an independent contractor, recognized by the good people of Fort Worth the best touring company around, but not an official agent of the city or county.
